Can Fat Loss 4 Idiots work for you? Maybe you have just a few pesky pounds from the holidays that just don’t want to go away, or maybe you’re more like I was. 6 years ago, I was 330 lbs, and it didn’t look like any change was coming soon. I’d tried everything, and nothing worked. Sure, I’d lose a few pounds, but then they’d just come back, usually with a few more!
Finally, I’d Had Enough
In the Summer of 2003, my high school friends and I were at a local amusement park, and after standing in line for hours for a roller coaster, the attendants couldn’t strap me in. I was officially too big for roller coasters. Worse, I was humiliated in front of my friends and in front of strangers. I’d had enough. Something had to change.
I began my fat loss journey that night.For the next few weeks, I spent hours each day on the internet, learning everything I could about how to lose weight. Those of you who have also tried this know how frustrating it is to have to sift through all the garbage, and how hard it can sometimes be to identify weight loss fact from fiction. I started changing the way I ate, when I ate, and what I ate.Less than one year later, I was 140 lbs smaller and no longer shopping at Big & Tall. I was “normal” and felt every bit of it.
What Fat Loss 4 Idiots Has Taught Me
The story continues, but this is the perfect time for a side note. I didn’t use Fat Loss 4 Idiots to lose the weight, but it would have made things so much easier if I had known about it while going through my own weight struggles.
I could have saved countless hours of research and trial and error if I’d only had a plan to follow which was as easy and reliable as Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Also, take time to consider this: did you notice that I never mentioned exercise? Well, that’s because I didn’t exercise. At all. Looking back, I wish I had, because it took me a full year of training and conditioning after I lost the weight to make up for the lack of exercise. The beauty of Fat Loss 4 Idiots is that you don’t have to throw on any spandex or buy any expensive gym equipment or memberships. All you have to do is walk (and that’s more than I did!).
The Fat Loss Timeline
I lost all this weight during my senior year in high school. A few months later, when I started my college career as a biology major, a friend of mine from high school turned me on to exercise. He taught me the fundamentals of weight training and aerobic exercise, and once again, I hit the internet searching for any and all information I could find. After a year in the gym, I decided to put myself to the test, and joined the university rowing team. This was a journey all of its own, but it wouldn’t have been possible if I had never taken those first, difficult steps towards a thinner me. My rowing career spanned 3 years, during which my crew and I twice placed 5th nationally. At any rate, after a single year of rowing, I realized my true passion lay in health and fitness. Two years into college, I switched majors from biology to nutrition, fitness and health.
Why do I share this with you? For several reasons. First, as I mentioned, I lost this weight by myself. I had no help and no diet plan, I had to teach myself how to lose the weight. Second, the way I lost weight was remarkably similar to Fat Loss 4 Idiots. I ate according to the Glycemic Index, varied my fuel sources, began drinking more water, and started eating more meals, just like Fat Loss 4 Idiots recommends.
It’s A Reality
Finally, it’s important for you to know that this is not just a goal for you; this is a reality. There was nothing special about me that helped me lose the weight.
